4th Annual Monkey Love Valentine Drive <3 <3 <3

Drop off at Luther's Garage, 5 White Street, Downtown Shelton, Monday through Friday.

Luthers: 8 AM to 6 pm M-Th; 8 AM to 5 PM Fri

For the fourth year in a row, Luther's will be collecting plush monkeys for abused, neglected, impoverished and needy children in the Valley and surrounding areas.
Last year, over 2,300 stuffed monkeys were collected! Due to this overwhelming success, the monkeys were not only given to local organizations who service children, but also Yale Children's Hospital and Griffin Hospital.
Sometimes people tell us they have a "heck of a time finding stuffed monkeys!" They can be found at Walmart, Target, Walgreens, Toys R Us and Beardsley Zoo Gift Shop to name a few.
Gift cards to local department and toy stores will also be accepted.
Help brighten a child's Valentine's Day in 2010.
Some of the children have actually given up their "monkey" to a loved one on Valentine's Day so they could give them a gift. Last year, we were able to give these children two - one to keep and one to give!! : )

For the fifth year in a row, Luther's will be collecting gently worn children's clothes (from infant size up) and laundry detergent to benefit the Shelton Safe Home and
My Sister's Place (Ansonia.)
Tax deduction forms are available upon request for clothing.
